The M/V Apollo links the Lower North Shore with Newfoundland. Both ferries provide exceptional opportunities to view whales, icebergs and other marine life. There’s truth in the expression “half the fun is getting there!”
Along the different communities of the Lower North Shore, there are several organized excursions by boat. These tours will allow you to take in some of the most incredible sights of marine, bird and wildlife, along with breathtaking scenery that you can only see from the water. You will also discover more about the region’s culture and history through interpretation panels at your stops, or through the many stories and legends you will hear about along the way.
